The Wind Song of Christmas Eve

In a sky filled with dreams
moonbeams dance on the snow
Reflections glisten on streams
as winter stars glow
The whisper beneath
the white moon echoes
ringing silver chimes
and singing through the pines

In the wind song of Christmas Eve
a peaceful breeze sweeps through the trees
His love whispers sweetly
and sends a tingle through me
with more presence than I can believe
In the wind song of Christmas Eve

The star lit heavens part
Angels come to play
The shepherd of my heart
illuminates my way
The caress of His grace
feels soft on my face
Holy breath fills the night
with a wondrous light

In the wind song of Christmas Eve
a peaceful breeze sweeps through the trees
His love whispers sweetly
and sends a tingle through me
with more presence than I can believe
In the wind song of Christmas Eve

Silver white pines
bathe in the moonlight
weeping onto the hills
candles burn on window sills
as He warms those that are lonely
whose hearts are weary from roaming
guiding them home
