Our Mother
I can see the rain fall
upon the trees that stand tall
and into rivers as they rise
as our mother cries
I can feel the summer breeze
dancing through the moonlit leaves
As the soft wind talks to me
our mother breathes
Our mother shelters all of life
with the beauty of the earth and sky
Her sanctuaries lure us everywhere
Her majesty endures
She's always there
in the waterfalls and rainforests
The breath of life is her bliss
Virgin starlight blankets the night
with a sea of sparkling light
When evening falls
with a sigh of peace
our mother sleeps
Every springtime the flowers return
New life dawns as the seasons turn
As winter snows change to rain
with her tears we're born again
Our mother shelters all of life
with the beauty of the earth and sky
Her sanctuaries lure us everywhere
Her majesty endures
She's always there
in waterfalls and rainforests
The breath of life is her bliss
